Udi’s Gluten Free Muffin Review

I received a complimentary product to facilitate my Udi’s Gluten Free Muffin review, but all opinions are my own.

Udi's Gluten Free Muffin

Udi’s make a wide assortment of gluten free baked goods.  When Influenster supplied a coupon so I could try any Udi’s product of my choosing for free I jumped at the opportunity.

Udi’s Gluten Free Muffin Review

Taste

Delicious and surprising were the first words that came to mind when tasting the Udi’s Gluten Free Blueberry Muffins.   The crunchy sugared top provided great texture without being overly sweet.  Even my husband enjoyed the muffin.  He reported that while he thought it was a bit dense at first he really liked the flavor and was surprised that something gluten free could be so “normal”.

Overall Experience with Udi’s Gluten Free Muffin

The Good

  • The flavor is absolutely tasty.  Just the slightest hint of lemon compliments the blueberries perfectly.
  • The texture is on point.  While gluten free baked goods don’t always match up to their gluten filled counterparts, Udi’s has mastered the texture of gluten free muffins.
  • The serving size is good.  These muffins are on the larger side and are the perfect size for breakfast.

The not so Good

  • Pretty pricey.  While I didn’t pay for my sample they rang up at $5.69 + tax at Target.  For four muffins it’s less than a bakery or coffee shop, but still fairly pricey.

Overall, I think Udi’s Gluten Free Muffins  are are delicious way to enjoy a sweet treat or breakfast without gluten.  While they are pricey, they are definitely delicious and I would absolutely buy them for a special treat or when I was serving gluten free guests.

Full disclosure: I was provided with a free sample of Udi’s for review by Influenster. The opinions and views presented here are solely my own.
